In the UK the XBO has had a major price drop. Amazon is selling the XBO Ori bundle for the same price as the Wii U Premium Mario Kart bundle. £25 cheaper than the PS4 deals, so I think this could lead to them 'winning' Black Friday. Of course one day is not the whole picture.

Something grubby that Kotaku did was when they revealed the whole story and ending to an upcoming Call of Duty game. They made out that it was a great journalistic scoop, but it was the furthest thing from journalism. They received the info from their industry privilege but all it did was betray the staff who trusted them and spoil the story for the gaming public.

Twenty years, fifteen or even ten I understand because enough time has past so we can mediate on its successes and failures with enough distance to be more honest with our appraisals. But two years? Halo 5 is the Xbox One's bestselling exclusive. But now we are in this Call of Duty era I don't think it was the event that past games have been. The new Gears game looks exciting and sufficiently different from previous games - this could broaden the appeal and capture the public's imagination and be a game-changer.
